I think 2013 was an up and down year for us. I was made redundant at the end of January, which left me downhearted after 6 months of being back at work full-time.....
February hit, and with it a poorly boy - giant chappy got scarlet fever, and was really poorly for 10 days.
The kids school got a New Head Teacher, who has since made some really positive changes.
My comping hobby gave us a couple of little treats - standing out most was our 2 day trip to Legoland Windsor, with a 2 night stay in Mcdonald Hotel Berystede....The hotel was fabulous, they couldnt do enough for the kids, and nothing was too much trouble... Legoland was a bit of let down (mostly because even though it was the 1st week of April it snowed both days!!!
The mini ginger finished playschool... and then started big school - thats all my babies in school now, which is both a blessing and a curse.
I finally got a job after 7 months - its only room attendant at Premier Inn, but better than nothing....
And finally, and perhaps the most important event for 2013 was for our daughter Karli, who after not seeing her biological dad for 10 years, asked us to get in touch with him, we did, and they are getting on fabulously!!
